Addendum: Registration and Unregistration of Fictitious Name

Licensee may, at their discretion, register the fictitious name with the local or state authority, as required by the applicable laws and regulations. Licensee shall bear any costs associated with the registration process.

Licensee agrees to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the registration, use, and operation of the fictitious name. Licensee acknowledges that they are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the fictitious name is in compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

Licensee shall promptly unregister the fictitious name with the local or state authority if Licensee ceases to operate under the fictitious name or terminates their use of the Name for any reason. Licensee shall provide written confirmation of the unregistration to the Licensor within 14 days of such action.

Licensee shall indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with Licensee's failure to register or unregister the fictitious name as required by the applicable laws and regulations.

The Licensor reserves the right to request evidence of the registration or unregistration of the fictitious name at any time during the term of this Agreement. Licensee agrees to promptly provide such evidence upon request.
